Bucketlistt Raises INR 1.07 Crore in Angel Round at INR 10.07 Crore Valuation to Build India’s Curated Experience Tourism Platform
Bucketlistt has raised INR 1.07 crore in a pre-seed angel round at a valuation of INR 10.07 crore to scale its curated experiences marketplace and SaaS platform OkGhumo. The startup aims to organize India’s fragmented tourism sector, expand across destinations, and build trusted adventure, cultural, and spiritual travel infrastructure.
The company was founded by Chartered Accountant Shubham Makhecha (AIR 36), Chartered Accountant Nitant Desai, and Divyam Shah. Bucketlistt is developing a curated digital marketplace that verifies and aggregates experiential offerings across India, ranging from adventure activities such as skydiving, river rafting, ziplining, giant swings, camping, and hot air balloon rides to immersive cultural and spiritual experiences.
Alongside its consumer-facing platform, the company has launched OkGhumo, an enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management software solution designed specifically for experience and activity operators. The platform enables vendors to manage bookings, operations, and financial workflows in a structured digital environment.
The newly raised capital will be deployed toward strengthening the company’s technology infrastructure, expanding its network of operators across key destinations, accelerating customer acquisition, and scaling its internal team.
India’s experience tourism industry is estimated at USD 45 billion, supported by rising disposable incomes and increasing demand for experiential travel. However, the sector remains highly fragmented, with consumers frequently relying on unorganized operators or general travel platforms that lack specialization, standardization, and trust-based verification.
Since its launch in December 2025, Bucketlistt has facilitated over INR 10 crore in bookings and served more than 31,000 customers within five months of operations. The platform currently operates in Rishikesh, offering experiences including adventure sports and access to the Ganges river evening prayer ceremony.
The company is preparing expansion into additional destinations, including Manali, Bir, and Jaipur. Its planned offerings extend beyond adventure tourism to curated cultural and spiritual experiences such as dining with the King of Rajwada, VIP access to the Ujjain Mahakal evening ritual, and traditional Feni production experiences in Goa.
According to the company, every operator listed on its platform undergoes direct vetting by the founding team prior to onboarding, ensuring quality, safety, and reliability standards across listed experiences.
Its SaaS platform OkGhumo has already onboarded three vendors collectively representing over INR 40 crore in annual business volume, reflecting early enterprise adoption of its operational software infrastructure.
Co-founder Shubham Makhecha stated that adventure tourism in India has long suffered from a lack of trust, standardization, and digital infrastructure. He noted that consumers struggle to identify verified operators, while vendors continue to rely on fragmented systems for managing their businesses. He emphasized that Bucketlistt is simultaneously building a trusted discovery platform for travelers and a dedicated software ecosystem for operators.
Angel investor and Joyspoon founder Yash Mehta highlighted that India’s adventure tourism ecosystem remains large but underserved by technology-led platforms. He further noted that Bucketlistt’s dual strategy—combining a consumer marketplace with deep operational integration through OkGhumo—positions the company strongly to formalize and scale the sector.
Looking ahead, Bucketlistt plans to launch a mobile application for consumers, introduce loyalty programs and dynamic pricing features, expand into additional destinations across India, and enhance OkGhumo’s capabilities with advanced integrations, including artificial intelligence-driven booking infrastructure.
Founded in 2025, Bucketlistt aims to establish itself as India’s trusted platform for discovering and booking curated experiences across adventure, cultural, spiritual, and lifestyle segments, bridging the gap between fragmented operators and modern travelers seeking verified experiential offerings.
